About The Weekly Melt

The Weekly Melt is a mobile soft-serve cart built around two things Melbourne does brilliantly: independent creativity and food worth crossing the city for.

Every week, we partner with a different local artist, illustrator, maker or small brand to create one limited-edition flavour and one matching cup design. The cups are signed and numbered, turning Friday dessert into a tiny collectible edition.

How the drop works

A new collaboration lands every Friday. The cart's laneway location is revealed on drop morning, and the small batch is served until sold out. Once the week ends, that flavour and artwork are retired.

Why local artists?

The Weekly Melt gives emerging creatives a playful public canvas beyond a gallery wall. Each collaboration shares the artist's work with Melbourne's food crowd while introducing their audience to the cart.
